Cassie Johnston, Expert by Experience
With 43 years’ experience of an intellectual disability, Cassie is a mother of three kids, a dog mum, a survivor of domestic violence of 19 years and sexual assault. A WWILD peer worker since 2020 who started working on the Listen Up project and on the You Think You’re the Expert Podcast, Cassie now works on intellectual disability and domestic and family violence training with the police.
